He moved to the United States in 1969, and in January 1972, married his wife of 44 years, Eunice (Salazar) Mena.
He enjoyed watching soccer, loved spending time with his family and having Sunday dinners with all his children and grandchildren.
Roy is survived by his wife, three daughters, a son, five grandchildren, several siblings, and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home in Orlando on Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM. A memorial service will begin at 12:00 PM.
