Marie Antoinette Giordano passed away in the early hours of August 13, 2016 at the age of 86 in Altamonte Springs, Florida

Marie Giordano was born Marie Antoinette Miele on April 12, 1930 in Rahway, New Jersey. Her parents (predeceased), Pat and Lucy Miele, provided a loving environment, where she lived until she was married. Her sister, born three years later, Jane Miele (husband, Walter Stahll) was her best friend. Marie and Jane’s relationship was unparalleled… A simple look could make them laugh in only a way that sisters can know. They shared many good times together, and are now both angels in heaven.

Marie married her beloved Anthony “Tony” Giordano April 12, 1953. They were devoted to each other and lived a life of love in Longwood, Florida, until Tony Giordano passed away in 1977. Their greatest achievement was the birth of their son, David Giordano, whom they adored and gave all the love in their heart to him and his wife, Traci Giordano.

Marie’s nieces, Lorraine Reynolds, Diane Green, and nephew Walter Alan Stahll have all the love one could have for an Aunt. Their memories are full of great family outings, movies, holidays and good family fun. We were all raised in a loving environment, and Marie was an integral part of their devotion to her and to each other.

Marie worked at the Discount Music Center and DHL in Orlando, and eventually worked at Lockheed Martin (then, Martin Marietta) until her retirement as an Administrative Assistant. The legacy that she leaves behind is her unerring kindness and her enduring goodness that permeated at work and in her home life. She will be missed.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 19, 2016, starting with the viewing at 10:00a until Noon at Newcomer Funeral Home, South Seminole Chapel, 335 E. State Road 434, Longwood, FL 32750 (407) 260-5400. Following is a Mass at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 861 Maitland Ave., Altamonte Springs, FL 32701 at 1:00p and burial at Highland Memory Gardens at 3329 E. Semoran Blvd., Apopka, FL 32703.
