Maria Garced, 90, passed into her heavenly home on Saturday, October 22, 2016. She was born on October 10, 1926 in Cidra, Puerto Rico to the late Angel and Georgina Rosario Urbina. Maria will be remembered as a strong, beautiful matriarch who blessed us with her loving soul.

Maria has been a resident of Orlando for almost 10 years coming from Union City, NJ. She appreciated the precious gift of life and often enjoyed going to the beauty salon, shopping, smoking a good cigar but most of all, quality time with her family. She will be truly missed and forever in our hearts.

She leaves wonderful memories to be cherished by her children, Luis A. (Theresa), Maria L. and Efrain Castro; 32 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1adoring great-great grandchildren; and a host of extended family members and friends. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Virgilo Garced in 2001.

Visitation will be held from 2PM to 5PM on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home in Orlando with a funeral service to follow at 5PM.
