In Memory Of
Carl R. Cruit, Sr.
1929 - 2016

Carl R. Cruit was born September 16, 1929 in Washington, D.C. He and his father moved to Orlando, Florida. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. Upon his honorable discharge from the Marines after four years of service, he met his wife in Orlando, Florida and became a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Carl was a kin and loving man whose smile could light a room and a laugh that was infectious and would warm your heart. He loved spending time with his family and watching Nascar. He was a man dedicated to his family and worked very hard until the age of 62 to assure his family had everything they needed. He was a wise man of many words, but he was always a good listener. His main goal in life was to see his family obtain their goals and dreams and become happy, successful people. He was a big part of making all this come true.
He was loved by many and remembered by all.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd., Orlando, FL 32822. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
