1918 - 2016

Dr. Roberto Alfonso Rey, age 98 of Orlando, passed away at his residence on December 1, 2016. He was born in Oriente, Cuba on October 10, 1918 to Mariano Rey and Laureana Parra. Dr. Rey practiced medicine in the state of Georgia prior to his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Nelida G. Rey; sons, Robert Rey, Alfred Rey and Antonio Rey; 5 grandchildren; sister, Berta Gonzalez.

Visitation will be held from 4PM-8PM Sunday, December 4 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Orlando. A funeral mass will be held at 10AM Monday, December 5 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Orlando. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
