1947 - 2017

Evelyn Clark passed away at home on March 7,2017 at 2:25 pm in Orlando at the age of 69 from complications due to renal failure. She was preceded in death by her father Thomas Saxour and her son Paul Rogers Clark. She is survived by her mother Ruth McAllister, her brothers Roy Saxour, Thomas Saxour Jr, David Saxour, Robert Saxour and Larry Saxour. She is also survived by her daughter Alania Hanbury and her sons David and John(Charlie) Clark, as well as her grand children Alyssa and Cole Hanbury, Jeremy and Chelsea Clark, Kaleigh Coleman, Elizabeth,Conner and Hunter Clark and also her great grandson Alex Coleman. She was also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family.

Evelyn was born on December 28,1947 in Columbus, Ohio to Thomas Saxour and Ruth Burns Saxour. Evelyn was a graduate of London High School in 1965. She was married in 1966 to John Clark. They had 4 wonderful children together. They moved to Florida in 1968 and she was a home maker until she started at Southern Bell as a long-distance operator. She retired after 25 years with the phone company. She was a loyal Moose member for many years and donated much of her time helping their charities and socializing with the members.

She was outgoing and loved people. She never met a stranger. She was a very generous and caring and would help others often. She had many life long friends. She loved music and dancing. She was a great cook and loved having family gatherings at her home nearly every weekend. Her greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother. She loved animals, especially her dogs.

The family would like to thank Hospice of the Comforter for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, please donate to them if you would like.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday March 11th from 1-5pm at the Azalea Park Loyal Order of the Moose 7221 Curry Ford Rd, Orlando, FL
