Patrick Michael Hayes, 74, of Port St. John, Florida passed away Monday April 10, 2017 at home. Mickey was born in New York City and settled with his wife of 51 years Lorraine, raising their 4 children in the West Keansburg section of Hazlet. After 35 years in Hazlet, they moved upon retirement to Port St. John, Florida in 2004.

Mickey was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a proud Stone Derrickmen & Rigger Ironworker in NYC for 49 years. Mickey was predeceased by his wife, Lorraine in 2014.

He is survived by his children- son Michael and his wife Timmie of Lexington SC, daughter Susan and her Partner Steve Wolf of Middletown NJ, son Brian and his wife Clorinda of Hazlet NJ, son William and his wife Laura of Howell NJ. Brother Joseph and his wife Joan of West Palm Beach FL. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, his companion Patricia Gorman and his beloved best friend Finn.

Arrangements are private and the family requests in Lieu of flowers donations be made in his name to the American Cancer Society.
