Miguel Antonio Martinez, age 92, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2017. He was born on February 22, 1925 in Gurabo, Puerto Rico to parents Miguel Martinez and Isidora Jimenez.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Luz M. Martinez; and his daughter, Gladys L. Martinez.

He is survived by daughter, Dr. Cynthia Ortiz; daughter, Damaris Suarez; son, Jose Francisco Ocasio; daughter, Taina M. Rivera; son, Michael A. Rivera; grandsons, Jason A. Vargas, Joel A. Vargas, Ruben N. Garcia Jr., Emmanuel J. Garcia, Destin A. Cochran, Michael A. Welborn, Isaac T. Heyliger, Jonathan Rivera, Michael Acosta, Angelo Acosta, Kaiden Rivera; granddaughters, Minysia Rivera, Tiara Rivera, Makayla Rivera; great-granddaughter, Celeste A. Vargas; nephew, Johnny Martinez; and his nieces, Wanda Rosa, Lolita Velez and Virginia Martinez.

Visitation will take place on Monday, May 15, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral Services are on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home in Orlando. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
