Ray Westerman
1930 - 2017

Ray E. Westerman 86, peacefully entered into his eternal home on 5/22/2017.

Ray moved to Florida from Virginia and eventually made his way into the Underground Construction industry. He became the owner of his own company in Orlando and was responsible for construction projects throughout Central Florida for over 30 years and was the first person to begin work at Disney. He was a mentor and a great friend to many.

One of Ray's greatest passion in life was hunting. He collected numerous big game trophies throughout North America and Africa. He was so proud to tell someone the story of each one of his trophies. His ability to tell a story was one of a kind.

He married his loving wife Marge in 1966. They were married for 51 years.

He gave more to people than people gave to him. If someone or a family needed something chances were good he would give it.

Ray is survived by his loving wife, Marge, grandson Adam, sons Gary and Larry, granddaughter Heidi, 4 great grandsons and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held this Thursday 5/25/17 at 9:30 am at Light House Baptist Church located at 3838 Howell Branch Rd, Winter Park, FL 32792 following the Memorial Service a burial service will be held at 11 am at Chapel Hill Cemetery located at 2400 Harrell Rd, Orlando, FL 32817.
