Caroline "Kay" Westcot Smith, 80 of Altamonte Springs, Florida, passed away peacefully on Monday August 7, 2017

Kay was born in Bridgewater, Vermont to Gorton H. Westcot and Rena H. Perron on February 9, 1937. She was a graduate of Rutland High School class of 1955. Kay worked various jobs throughout her career, data entry for GE in Rutland, office manager for Southern Technologies in Longwood and as a sales associate for JoAnne Fabrics in Sanford. In her early years, kay was involved with the Vermont Civil Air Patrol attaining the rank of Cadet Captain. Kay was an avid animal lover and greatly enjoyed all types of gardening and crafts. She was most notably known for her quilting skills and was a member of the quilting club "Loose Threads."

Kay is survived by her Husband of 59 years, Robert Smith of Altamonte Springs, Florida as well a her four children, Susan Smith of Newberry, South Carolina, Gina Smith of Longwood, Florida, Christopher Smith of Deltona, Florida and Gregory Smith (m.Cho Smith) of Washington D.C. Kay also leaves behind two Sisters, Bess Lumbra of Grand Isle, Vermont and Maxine Westcot of Worchester, Massachusetts. Kay also has five beautiful and loving grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Foundation of America and/or National Parkinson' Foundation. Condolences may be left in Kay's name in the online guestbook at www.newcomerorlando.com
