It feels almost impossible to put into words the love and respect that I have for my mom, but here it goes.

My mom was an amazing woman. She was a daughter, wife, a mother, grandmother, great grandma, and a loyal friend to those who knew her. She spent her life taking care of us, not once did she put herself before family. She was loving, funny, smart and at time without the degrees she could be a doctor with remedies, a lawyer when it came to problem solving and a counselor in the matters of the heart, there was nothing she couldn't solve. But the last seven years were a roller coaster for us, when she was diagnosed with COPD. We shared a lot of time together. We talked, laughed, shed some tears and at times there was some bickering. I will always treasure the time I was able to spend and care for her. Mommy know that I'll love you forever, I'll love you for always, as long as I am living my mommy you'll be.

My mother

She was a strong person and this strength shone through during her long fight with COPD. Even though she was in tremendous pain, she always remained strong and never wanted attention focused on her disease. She wanted everyone to continue on with their lives and was more concerned with how we were doing and if we were happy. I love you so much and wish that we had more time together. I will cherish all of the great memories we had and will carry your values with me. You will be missed by all and your memory will live in us all forever.
