Paula J. Archer, 62, of Orlando, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2017.

She was born in Youngstown, Ohio and later moved to Orlando. She was an office manager for the Orange County Tax Collector for over 30 years. Paula considered her greatest accomplishment to be her children. She was a loving wife and took great pride in her family. She was very festive and loved to host family gatherings and parties. She especially loved autumn, as it reminded her of when the leaves changed up north in Youngstown. She was also strong in her faith and active in her church. She once traveled to Guatemala on a missions trip and continued to support the children there long after she returned home. Her love of mothering was not limited to children, however. Paula also fostered fur babies! She opened her home to multiple dogs as they went through their adoption process.

Paula will be remembered by those who knew and loved her for her compassion, selflessness, hospitality, dependability, quirky sense of humor, and admirable strength.

Paula is survived by her husband, Fred W. Archer, daughters, Kimberly D. Leto, Padra Monique (Scott) Ward and Sabrina M. Archer, Son, Kyle R. Sanchez; father A. William Theis; sister, Patty Theis; nephew, Ray Theis; step-daughters, Tristan N. (Josh) Lynch and Torrey L. Archer, step-son, Tim F. (D.J.) Archer; 2 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family graciously requests contributions be made in memory of Paula to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-959, www.stjude.org/donate.
