James G "Doc". Dougherty

Born February 25, 1947 to Louise (Dottke) and James J. Dougherty, in Philadelphia Pennsylvania

He suddenly left this world early Tuesday morning September 5, 2017, to go home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

Doc served his country, retiring from Patrick Air Force Base as a Vietnam Era veteran, is survived by his Wife Barbara J.(Bak) and brother Tim Connell. Additionally he will be remembered by his nieces and nephews by marriage: Nicole Parks, Zachary Parks, Kyle Bak and Tyler Bak. He will be thought of fondly by his In-Laws: Lee Bak and Joe Caldera, Paul Bak as well as Jackie(Bak) and Steve Parks.

Jim loved riding his Harley and talking with other "Old Timer" Vets. He also was a Model Train enthusiast, collecting Camel Back and other Steam era engines.

Bubba was a kind man who loved his pets and daily companions: Dog-Lucy, Cats- Snowy, Mr.B, Mia, Shadow Baby Jasmine and Charlie-Bird.

James will be inurned at Cape Canaveral National cemetery with Military honors, date yet to be determined.
