Ron spent his childhood attending St. Mary's Catholic Church and school. Ron attended Detroit University & served in the Army at Fort Monmouth. Ron's next stop with his family was in Toledo working at WTOL. Ron went on to Directing at WOKR in Rochester and directed a local Romper Room & Mickey Mouse club show. He then moved his family to Cleveland and directed & produced the Ghoul Show, Horse Racing & the Jerry Lewis Telethon at WKBF. He was a Cub Master and Scout Master with the BSA. The family moved to Fort Wayne & Ron managed sales at WPTA. Ron and Marcia retired to Longwood, Florida.
He is survived by his son, Michael P. Schneider (daughter-in-law Reyna Thomas); son, Mark R. Schneider (daughter-in-law Veda Schneider); daughter, Anne M. Brezina; daughter, Karen Schneider; sister, Norma Ryan; granddaughter, Natalie; granddaughter, Crystal; grandson, Christofer; grandson, Hunter; grandson, Nicholas; grandson, Conner; granddaughter, Autumn; granddaughter, Cadence; great-grandson, Avery; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Edith Schneider, and his beloved wife, Marcia A. Schneider.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions, South Seminole Chapel, 335 E. SR 434, Longwood, FL 32750. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 10:00 am at Nativity Catholic Church, 3255 N Ronald Reagan Blvd, Longwood, FL 32750. Interment at Oaklawn Memorial Park to follow.
