Mrs. Gladys Marie Gaffney, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 in Winter Garden, Florida. Gladys was born on September 3, 1925 in Campbellsville, Kentucky to parents Omer and Sarah.

She is survived by her daughter, Roberta Carol Clark; son, Edward Eugene Gaffney; granddaughter, Heather Clark; grandson, Chris Grimes; great-granddaughter, Cheyenne Grimes; great-grandson, Preston Grimes; great-granddaughter, Alaya Clark; great-grandson, Me'khi Clark; and her sister, Sharon Stott.
She was preceded in death by her father, Omer Philpott; mother, Sarah Schrelick; husband, Alfred Gaffney, Jr.; sister, Cleda Dunn; and sister, Stella Shireman.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, February 19, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions - South Seminole Chapel, 335 E SR 434, Longwood, FL 32750. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm. Interment at All Faiths Memorial Park will follow, where she will be laid to rest with her husband, Alfred Gaffney, Jr.
