Arthur J. Moeller, age 89, passed away Thursday April 5, 2018 in Orange County, CA.

He was born on October 3, 1928 in Teaneck, NJ to the late Richard and Frieda Moeller. He is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Bernice, and his daughter, Diane Gerlt, and 3 siblings – Richard, Ethel, and Harvey.

Arthur is survived by his son, Carl Moeller; grandchildren, Caroline Moeller, James Moeller, Claire Moeller, Alexandra Moeller, Elaine Gall and Olivia Bitterman, and grand grandchild, Emerie Bitterman.

Arthur and Bernice were married in Little Ferry NJ in 1957 and raised their children there. Arthur’s working career spanned service in the US Army in Okinawa during the Korean War, a clothing salesman in NYC (Where Bernice modeled, and they began their relationship.) He was also the US sales representative for Bols Liqueurs. Later, he worked in NY as a buyer of premium sales products for Triple S Blue Stamps, and later as national sales manager for Chatham Mills. Arthur completed his BS in Business while working with a family after 8 years of night school. He and Bernice retired to Florida in the 1990s.

Arthur was a deeply committed follower of Jesus Christ. He committed his life to the Lord at the Billy Graham Crusade in NYC and from that point on was often involved with personal evangelism. He served faithfully in many capacities as a deacon, elder, and Christian Service Brigade leader at Montvale NJ Evangelical Free Church.

Visitation is Sunday April 15, 2018 from 2pm to 4pm with funeral service starting at 4pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home (East Orlando Chapel).

Graveside service is Monday April 16, 2018 at 10am at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
