Richard E. Hanley Jr., 71 of Merritt Island, Florida, passed away on May 15, 2018.

Richard (Dick) was born in Huntington, West Virginia on December 14, 1946. Dick and his
family moved to central Florida where he graduated from Cocoa High School and then joined
the Army. After serving our country, he become a Master Electrician as a brother in the I.B.E.W
local 606 until retiring.

Dick will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years Vicki.

He enjoyed fishing, Nascar, watching TV, and spending time with his family.

Dick is preceded in death by his father Richard.

Dick is survived by his two children, Richard (Shellie), Michelle (Chuck); his 4 grandchildren
Hailee, Cierra (Bob), Taylor and Rachel; his sister Nancy (Rick); his mother Ruth.

He so courageously and pleasantly fought the good fight for 18 “bonus” years as he called them
with major heart problems. Enjoying everyday to it’s fullest and surprising all his doctors.

Dick was a veteran, great husband, father and grandfather. He will be thought of fondly
everyday by all who had the pleasure calling him family or friend.
