Mrs. Eleftheria "Litsa" Richardson, age 79, passed away in Lake Mary, Florida on May 18, 2018. She was born on January 1, 1939 in Athens, Greece to parents Nicholas Gikas and Sophia (Poulaki) Gikas.

She is survived by her son, Dimitrios (Anna) Kioukis; daughter, Swami Sugunananda; granddaughter, Sophia (Steve) Abbott; grandson, Alexander Kioukis; granddaughter, Eliana Kioukis; great-grandson, Charles Abbott; sister, Maria (Petro) Bourikas; and a host of friends.

Litsa grew up in Greece and moved to America in 1980 with her late husband Mike. She had a huge heart and always looked to help those in need. She loved her country, culture, Greek Music, gardening, God and most of all her Family. She stayed in America so she could be close to her children and grandchildren while she dreamed of being in Koropi Greece with her all her relatives.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 - 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 1217 Trinity Woods Lane, Maitland, FL 32751. The funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241, where Litsa will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Floyd Michael Richardson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that charitable donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of Litsa.
