John Anthony Quinn died on May 17, 2018, with his loving family by his side, at his home in Indialantic Florida, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

John was born on August 24, 1945 to the late Michael and Frances Bridget Quinn. John is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 27 years Lucille Acampora Quinn. John is also survived by his three children: Cynthia Kuhn (Will), Wendy Bryant (Gregory), and Vincent Quinn. In addition John leaves 5 grandchildren: Frank (Courtney)Somers, Peter and Daniel Somers. Trey Kuhn, Maja Quinn and 1 great grandson Paxton Somers. John also leaves his sister Beverly Chevalier (Richard). John was predeceased by his brother Michael Quinn and sisters: Patricia Babb, Mary Moritis, and Cheryl Quinn. John also leaves numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

After graduating Hillhouse High School in 1964 John began his career with the City of New Haven in the surveying section of the Engineering Department. After 25 years of service John retired from the City of New Haven and moved to Florida where he began a second career at the City of Sunrise in Florida and in addition he worked part time for One Blood Incorporated where he received The Good Samaritan Award.

John was known for his great personality, his sense of humor and for his love and affection for his wife and his entire family. John was welcoming to friends, neighbors and always to strangers who needed a helping hand. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. We will be celebrating John's life on July 15th at Paradise Beach Pavilion.
