Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Nan Wallace, daughter, Rachel King (Mark), Apopka; son, Joseph Jr. (Kyle), Jacksonville; and daughter, Elizabeth Finch, London, England. They have 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Joe served in the Air Force for 3+ years, serving in Korea and Japan.

His different positions there were that of Director of Finance and Comptroller for the Orange County Public Schools. He was a Board Director for the Central Florida Educator’s Federal credit Union for 30 years, served as president on several occasions. Mr Wallace received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Rollins College.
Growing up in West Tennessee, Mr Wallace enjoyed playing football in High School as well as baseball. He was a Little League Coach for many years. After high school he played semi-professional baseball, but his first love of sports was golf. For several years he played golf every Tuesday morning with the same foursome. He was a wonderful and much loved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
