Linda Sue (Sarver) Mayland died peacefully at home on 21 May 2018 at 9:14 A.M. In Orlando, Florida at the age of 73.

Linda is survived by her children Rhonda 55, Michael 53, her sisters Eveylyn, Joanne, Marilyn, as well as her brother Donnie. She is preceded in death by her husband and love of her life of 56 years, Rod Mayland. She also lives on through her 5 Grand kids Shayla, Kye, Aaron, Austin, and Connor, as well as 3 Great grand children Hailey, Travis, and Shayla's soon to be born son.

Linda was born in Rockford, Illinois on 25 May1945 to Ethyl Sarver and Henry Edwin Sarver. She graduated from East high school in 1963 and shortly after that the high school sweethearts were wed. The young couple moved to Carpentersville, Illinois where Linda stayed busy raising a family and working in office supplies for the next 20 years. Her children remember her as a hard working, fun Mom who encouraged them to pursue there goals. Linda was was accomplished artisan at ceramics, enjoyed old muscle cars, 1950's music, Las Vegas, and was without equal the Christmas Queen! Rod and Linda moved to Orlando, Florida in 1984 and had a good life together.

A funeral is scheduled for Friday 01 June 2018, at 2:00 P.M. Viewing from 2:00 until 2:45 and a celebration of life at 2:45. The services will be at Newcomer Funeral Home, 335 East State Road 434, Longwood, Florida 32750. (407)-260-5400. All are welcome to attend and celebrate a life well lived.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of the comforter at www.hospiceofthecomforter.org/ . The family would like to thank all the Hospice caregivers for all of their efforts, care and dedication.
