In Memory Of
Elizabeth Anne Tallent
1948 - 2018

Elizabeth Anne Smith Tallent, daughter of William Oliver Smith and Mary K. Smith, was born November 29th, 1948 in Lebanon Missouri. She departed this life on June 1st, 2018 in Orlando Florida, at the age of 69, surrounded by love.

Anne was always known for being a kind, smart, strong, caring, and loving person. Anne was a proud veteran who spent 4 years serving in the United States Navy. She spent 25 years working for Delaware County Family Services. as a Fraud Investigator, where she was remembered fondly as an early bird, being bright, caring, friendly, and willing to help others. Anne was very proud of her Native American Heritage as a Cherokee Indian. Like her late grandmother, Erma Smith, Anne enjoyed watching, spending time with, and learning about birds. Anne also enjoyed fishing, listening to music, playing word games, reading mysteries, and visiting her siblings and family in Ohio, Missouri, and Arizona. Anne enjoyed her later life in Florida, spending time with her grandchildren and helping with her daughter's horses and donkey.

Anne was a devoted mother and grandmother. Anne is survived by her three children, Angela K. McEnaney and her husband John McEnaney, William F. Tallent, and Shawn K. Tallent; two grandchildren, Laurel A. Tallent and Keagan J. McEnaney; her mother, Mary K. Smith; her three siblings, Katherine (Irene) Hatfield and her husband Bill Hatfield, Jeanne Smith, William (Buzz) Smith and his wife Roxanne Smith; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Anne believed in the importance of family and loved them all.

Anne's kind nature, genuine smile, and loving heart will be missed by her family and friends as she joins her father and grandparents in Heaven. Anne asked to not have a memorial. Please leave a note with any memories you would like to share with friends and family here. We should all take pride in knowing that she is looking after us now, just as she always did.

"If love alone could have kept you here, you would have lived forever."
