In Memory Of
Italo Antonio Rojas
1967 - 2018
In his youth Italo found the love of sports. You could always find him on a weekend surround by family and friends at Red Hook Park, Brooklyn playing soccer. Upon moving to Orlando his love for sports continued. His weekends were filled with youth football games as well as basketball games. Through his sons he found his passion to coach and mentor so many young athletes. Italo saw the best in every athlete he came across and gave everyone an opportunity to be the best player they can be. He founded the Orlando Orangemen which to this day will continue in his memory. During the off season it would be unusual to find Italo not in a bathing suit soaking up the sun with an ice cold drink by the pool. Italo genuinely gave a new meaning to living life to the fullest.
Italo was a Realtor with Remax Innovation for many years. Going to work everyday was never a task for him. He felt as if Remax was his second home. A dysfunctional home, but nevertheless, a home filled with people who he considered brothers and sisters. His arms were always open for a big bear hug and his ears were always ready to listen. You could count on Italo to turn your bad day into a good one.
Italo is survived by his four children Cindy, Amanda, Jonathan, Cristian and his wife Kathy. His mother and father Vilma and Jose, and his two sisters, Claudia and Grace. Italo leaves behind his beloved nieces and nephews, whom he loved beyond measures. Italo was a man of unconditional love and laughter. He would only want us to celebrate his life with a big smile.
Remember his smile, remember his laughter and he will live through us forever.
A celebration of his life will be held on July 24th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on July 25th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home.
