Arthur “Archie” Hastings, age 80, of St. Cloud, FL passed away Thursday May 14, 2015.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Ora (nee: Bassett) Hastings, siblings, Clifford, Clayton, George, Bernice, and Francis.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Elizabeth “Betty” (nee: DiBernardo) Hastings; children, Keith (Kim), Barry, and Todd (Dawn); grandchildren, Danielle (Cory), Cody (Britney), Heath, and Paige; great grandchildren, MacKenzie, Aubrey, and Harper; sister, Sheila (Armond) Niemela; sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Clayda; brother-in-law, Edward (Nancy) DiBernardo; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Archie was born in Hinsdale, NH and he served his country for 4 years in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He moved his family to FL in 1970 and retired from Darden Restaurants after 20 years of service. He spent his retirement hunting, fishing, travelling with his wife, and spending time with his family.

Celebration of Life is Thursday May 21, 2015 from 1pm to 2pm with memorial service starting at 2pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home (East Orlando Chapel).

Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in his honor.
