In Memory Of
Arelis Medina
1950 - 2015
Arelis was born on June 7,1950 in beautiful San Juan, Puerto Rico. Arelis was a spiritual advisor to many, true friend, co-worker, loyal, considerate, and hardworking lady spending the a last 21 years actively working full time at Silver Lake Resort, Kissimmee, FL. She was a TV Pop Culture Trivia genius and spent great times watching her favorite shows: Big Bang Theory, Frasier, Scandal, NBA Play Offs… and discussing them over lunch or phone with friends. Grandmother, true friend and mother figure to many. Pillar of support and counselor to her family. Her generosity and compassion touched many. Family and Jesus Christ were her main passions in life and she let ALL know and feel these were her priorities.
Her proud sons will pay tribute and strive to be, if even possible, at least, half the oasis of love, dedication and fierce safe guard she was to the people around her and do the same for their remaining family and friends the rest of their time on this earth; for Arelis was exactly that to all she touched. She showed the meaning of true sisterhood to her fellow men and women around her. Without placing judgement, remaining fair, allowing people to be who they were. She will be immensely missed and cherished forever.
Arelis is survived by her sons, Ruben and David Rodriguez, grandson, Esteban Rodriguez, granddaughter, Isabella Rodriguez. They all will look forward to being together in glorious heaven one day again.
