John Allen Middleton II was born on March 18, 1964, in Gainesville, Florida. He was the son of John A. Middleton and Lugene Jackson Middleton. John passed away on November 22, 2015.

John graduated from Buchholz High School in Gainesville, Florida. He attended Santa Fe Community College and Valencia Community College. John was a veteran of the United States Army and served in Desert Storm.
