Mr. Thomas E. Lisha Hancock, age 68, passed away February 3, 2016 after an extended illness. He was born on March 11, 1947 to Elisha Clifford Hancock and Doris Murrell Hancock at Christmas, Florida.
His grandparents were Thomas and Josephine Tindell Hancock.

He is survived by one daughter, Michelle Hancock Pena and son-in-law Dimitre Pena of Gainesville; ex-wife, Ruth Cason Hancock of Envernes; three brothers, Daryl Hancock of Homosassa Springs, Terry Hancock, and Philip Hancock of Lake City; three sisters, Doreen Hancock Waters of Lake City, Bonnie Hancock Smith, and JoAnne Hancock Mills of Ocala.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and USMC Reserves from 1961 to 1966.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 8, 2016 at Christmas Cemetery, beginning at 2:00 PM.
