Charles Louis Holste passed away on February 9, 2016 at Hospice of St. Francis in Titusville, Florida. Charles was born in Baltimore, Maryland on February 17, 1929 and was the beloved husband of 65 years to Anita Holste. He is also survived by daughters Christine Presley (Richard) and Cheryl Gentry of Tallahassee, Florida and 4 grandchildren, Daniel Lucas (Christina), Rebecca (William) Miller, Elizabeth (Nathaniel) Hockensmith and Robert Gentry, seven great grandchildren and brother-in-law Richard E. Hampton of Titusville, Florida.
Charles is a veteran and served in the Medical Department at Fort Clayton Hospital in the Panama Canal Zone during WWII. He retired as a mechanical engineer from Lockheed Martin in 1991 but continued working as an Enrolled Agent tax accountant where he hoped he would be remembered for what he had done and how he tried to help his clients.
A memorial service will be held at St. Teresa's in Titusville, Florida on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations be made to Hospice of St. Francis, Titusville, Florida.
