In Memory Of
Seker Ausar Dixon
1994 - 2015
Just prior to his death, Seker completed two years at the University of West Florida (UWF) and recently transferred to Valencia College in order to pursue a career in Nursing. He was a basketball and football enthusiast.
Seker was known for his great sense of humor, including his never ending pursuit of finding nicknames for all those closest to him. He was artistic, independent and charming with a distinctive sense of style. The name Seker Ausar, originated in ancient Egypt and means “through discipline I am divine”. As he strived toward this, he demonstrated other qualities such as capability, determination and endurance in spite of his medical challenges.
Seker is preceded in death by his twin brother Heru Amen Dixon. He is survived by his mother (Donna), father (Stephen), aunts, uncles and cousins too numerous to name and a host of close friends.
