Candi Ekstrom, age 73, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born on December 8, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois to parents William John Thiele and Helen Marie (Zuponvich) Thiele.

She is survived by her loving husband of many years, Donald Miller; son, Shane Ekstrom and his spouse, Alexsis Ferguson-Ekstrom; daughter, Lisa Miller and her spouse, Michelle Cobb; son, Donnie Miller and his spouse, Laura Miller; daughter, Jennifer Carmon and her spouse, Jeremy Carmon; her beloved grandson, Colton James Ferguson Ekstrom; and countless friends, all who will miss her dearly.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions - South Seminole Chapel, 335 E. SR 434, Longwood, FL 32750. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM. A reception will follow at the Winter Springs Civic Center, 400 N. Edgemon Ave., Winter Springs, FL 32708.

In honor of Candi's sassy style, everyone is encouraged to help the family bring as much purple into the room on Saturday as possible.
