Emilio Lopez Medina, a respected man born on August 8, 1960 in Oaxaca, Mexico, the State of Union Hidalgo. He resided in the US for over 25 years epitomizing what it means to work hard. Emilio passed away at the age of 57 on Wednesday, April 25, 2018.

Emilio was born into a large and loving family, a childhood surrounded by his 7 siblings: Carmela Lopez Medina, Jorge Lopez Medina, Jose Lopez Medina, Juan Lopez Medina, Maria Lopez Medina, Miguel Lopez Medina, Tomas Lopez Medina. All while being raised by his strong suppport system his parents Tomas Lopez Regalado and Leonor Lopez Medina.

He is survived by his wife Rocio Castaño Giraldo and her two sons Christian Castaño and Edgar Armando Castaño, Jr. as well as his two own endearing children of Alejandra Lopez Escudero and Hugo Emilio Lopez Escudero. Followed by his leagacy of grandchildren: Rogelio Nafthaly Velasquez Lopez, Hugo Emilio Lopez Vegas, Emily Velasquez Lopez and Genesis Lopez Vegas.

Emilio was a many highly revered by his family and his peers. A respected figure in the company of BrightView, where he committed 20 years of his life to gaining many lifelong friends who have integrated into being part of the family.

In his last days, we saw many of his friends and family congregate, providing unfathomable support for his blissful passing. A testament to how loved he was and the impact he had on many people's lives.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 5th, 2018 form 12pm-5pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 335 East State Road 434, Longwood, Florida 32750 with all families and friends welcome.
