James Samuel Ford, age 48 of Dobbin, Texas passed away Friday, August 10, 2018. He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Carter. He is survived by his loving wife Shirley Ford, and daughter Breanna a host brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
James was a loving husband, father, uncle, and friend to everyone he met. James graduated from Montgomery High School in 1987. He loved playing sports, especially football. James had a tremendous faith as demonstrated by an ability to accurately quote scripture. James loved music, art, and films. His favorite films included Dodge Ball, Tombstone, Ghost, and Black Panther. James enjoyed spending time with his family. He leaves behind his best friend and partner in crime. James spirit will be greatly missed.
A memorial for James will be held in Georgia in the coming weeks.
