Steven Jack (PeeWee) Herman died peacefully in his Titusville, Florida home on Monday, August 13, surrounded by family and beloved friends. Born on Oct 26, 1948 in Cleveland, Ohio, he grew up in Toledo attending Thomas A. DeVilbiss High and the University of Toledo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Janine Goron Herman and his sister, Rita Herman Tauber. He is survived by his daughters, Melanie (James) Brantley and Stephanie Herman. Grandsons, Jimmy (Angelica) Brantley and Marty (Kayla) Brantley and great grandsons, Aiden and Owen. Brother in law, George (Cindy)Tauber and nieces Jodi (John) Aiken and Abbi Tauber and two grand nephews. Also his companion and caregiver, Susan Guy Herman and the extended Guy family.
Our hearts are broken but we know we will see him again.
Arrangements are being handled by Newcomer Funeral Home, Titusville, Florida.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on August 25 at 2pm at the Titusville Elks Lodge.
