In Memory Of
Jonathan Edward Romero
1994 - 2018

Have you ever met someone that from first words, first glance you just knew that they were destined for greatness? That their heart was bigger than the rest of ours? That was Jonathan. Jonathan “ Jayar” Romero born and raised in Bronx, New York was like no other 24 year old man.

Growing up with a single Mom and 5 brothers and sisters, he was the heart of his family. Always helping his Mom, being the man of the house and loving his sibling’s day in and day out. Jayar was so humble and full of laughter, even after his car accident he was making jokes and telling everyone he loved them. That was the man he was and the man we will always remember him to be.

Jonathan wasn’t just a hero on September 10th but he was a hero every day of his life, always lending a hand, a smile and all the love he could give. Jonathan worked at Boardwalk bowl as a Chef in Orlando; he loved his job and loved his co-workers.

Jonathan is survived by his Mother Kelly Katherine Sczesny, His father Dennis Isaac Romero, His Siblings Marcel Sczesny, Rafael Rosario, Nicholas Rosario, Antonio Rosario, Analese Sczesny and future Nephew Jayar Omar Martinez. He is also survived by his Uncles Richard Sczesny, Dennis Sczesny, John Sczesny, Vincent Sczesny “Pops” his father Mentor, and Edward Kroski “ Junebug” . Aunts Nancy Sczesny, Donna Sczesny, Madeline Sczesny, Nomi Otero and Dawn Rivera-Sczesny. Also survived by several cousins who loved him and will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be held from 1PM-4PM Saturday, September 22 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, East Orlando Chapel. A funeral service will begin at 3PM.
