Catherine Jean Yantorni, age 94, of Norway, Michigan, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2018, in Winter Springs, Florida. She was born July 1, 1924, in Norway, Michigan, the daughter of the late Peter and Angeline Calcatera. She married Henry M. Yantorni on September 1, 1944, in Ocala, Florida. Henry owned and operated Henry’s Refrigeration and Appliance in Iron Mountain, Michigan. After retirement, they became snowbirds to Florida where they enjoyed spending time with their children and grandchildren.

Jean was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Oak Crest Golf Course and Loyal Order of the Moose in Norway, Michigan. She was a member of the Red Hatters in Orlando, Florida.

She is survived by her three sons, Peter (Rita) Yantorni of Tacoma, Washington, Paul (Linda) Yantorni of Oviedo, Florida, James (Cindy) Yantorni of Winter Springs, Florida, and her daughter Mary Catherine (Jim) Oslund of Milford, Michigan. Eleven grandchildren...Sarah (Richard) Reck of Golden, Colorado, Steve (Anna) Yantorni of Renton, Washington, Michael (Janna) Oslund of Orlando, Florida, Kristina (Darren) Lewis of White Lake, Michigan, Daniel (Maria) Oslund of Hartland, Michigan, Melissa (Carlos) Rosello of Oviedo, Florida, Matthew (Kristal) Yantorni of Orlando, Florida, Mark (Elizabeth) Yantorni of Oviedo, Florida, Brooke Yantorni of Winter Springs, Florida, Lauren Yantorni of Orlando, Florida, and Thomas Yantorni of Winter Springs, Florida, thirteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by brother-in-law Ken Johnson.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers Kenneth (Shirley) and Donald (Delores) and sister Marilou Johnson and one great-grandchild, Madison Gloria Oslund.

There will be a celebration of life memorial service in Norway, Michigan, in June 2019. Condolences to the family may be expressed online at www.NewcomerOrlando.com.
