David Welch Kinerson, 77 passed on January 8, 2019 at 1:37 PM to join his wife of 44 years Shelia Kinerson. David died peacefully at his residence in Orlando, Florida.

David was a retired Aviation Ordinanceman having served 20 years of active service in the United States Navy and 10 years of inactive reserves. Upon his retirement David obtained a Bachelor’s Degree and worked for Robert Hunt Corporation(Pella Windows/Doors). David was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and the United States Military Order of the Cootie honor society of the VFW. David and his wife were active members of both VFW and the Cooties, with David serving as Chaplain for the State among other offices.

David was predeceased by his Wife Shelia Lynn Kinerson on October 19, 2016. David is survived by his son Leonard James Kinerson and Leonard’s Husband Frank Alan Di Muccio and their 3 dogs (Satine, Kuma and Siku).

Memorial services will be held at the VFW Post 5405 in Winter Springs, Florida in the beginning of February at a date and time to be determined.

The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in the name of Shelia and David Kinerson to the VFW Post 5405 (420 N Edgemon Ave, Winter Springs, FL 32708)
