In Memory Of
Phyllis Sue Grollmes
1945 - 2019

Phyllis Sue Rollins Grollmes, age 73, of Titusville, Florida passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019.

Phyllis was born November 12, 1945 in Miami, FL; daughter of the late Albert Vernon II and Millicent Mae (Aiken) Rollins. On February 5, 1972, she married Donald Ray Grollmes. Phyllis was a longtime architectural designer before her retirement.

The majority of her life she lived throughout Florida, moving with her family to Titusville in 1981, for Don's career with the Space Program. Phyllis started her successful home design business, Graphics by Grollmes, shortly after moving to Titusville. She was also active in the community. For many years she was a Girl Scout troop leader; supported animal rescue groups, including Brevard Humane Society; and volunteered at her daughters' schools.

Phyllis had a variety of interests she enjoyed. She went on many road trips throughout the U.S. with her family - traveling to almost all states. She was a talented seamstress, making her own wedding dress and many dresses and Halloween costumes for her daughters. She also enjoyed crafting.

Family meant the world to Phyllis, in her later years her granddaughters were the light of her life. She enjoyed spending time with them and teaching them new things.

Though Phyllis is no longer physically with us, her spirit lives on...
in the homes she designed;
in the friends she treasured;
in the family she loved dearly.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, Don; two daughters, Debbie Grimm and her husband, Trevor, and Kristie Hall; and three grandchildren, Makayla Hall, Audrey Hall, and Reagan Grimm.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Jerry Rollins; and beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family invites you to join in the celebration of her life. Visitation is Saturday, February 9, 2019 at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church Emmaus Hall from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, 2309 Holder Rd, Mims, FL 32754. A Mass of Catholic Burial will follow at 11:00 am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Fr. Andrew Wojtan officiating.

Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Titusville, FL.

Afterward a catered lunch will be at Emmaus Hall at Holy Spirit Catholic Church at 1:00 pm.
