Shirley Mae Hodapp, age 73, passed away peacefully February 17, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Her life was a living example of the bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 – “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”

She was a dedicated wife, daughter, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She treasured her family and touched them deeply.. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh.

Shirley married the love of her life in 1977 and enjoyed 41 years of traveling the world and making friends everywhere she went. Everyday was a testament to the love they shared and their exciting adventures together.

She is preceded in death by her loving Husband, Edward Hodapp, Father, Quinnice Rutherford, Mother, Gladys Rutherford and Sister, Evelyn Phillips.

She is survived by Son, Charles Spellman, Son, Michael Hodapp, Son, Everett "Lonnie" Hodapp, Step-Daughter, Anna Shreiner, Sister, Sheila Smith, Sister, Jeannie Hancock, Brother, Thomas Rutherford, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 starting at 1:00 pm at her son’s family home at 4630 Hickory Tree Lane, St Cloud, Florida 34772.
