Kristine Diane "Kris" Aly
1964 - 2019

It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Daughter, ‘Sistie’, ‘Auntie Kiss’, and Friend, Kris Aly, aged 54, on Sunday, February 17, 2019, resulting from a condition she had battled with courage and quiet dignity for almost her entire adult life.

Kris’ family was her life and she will be forever held in the hearts of her loving parents, Neil and Lee Aly, her ‘sistie’ Karen (Karyn) Aly, and her adored Niece, Desirae, who was the light of her life. So many family and friends will always cherish their time with Kris. She was loyal and smart and funny and selfless. She was a proud original nerd (before it was cool), fangirl of all things Star Trek, Sci-Fi, and especially, Marvin the Martian. She had an intense love of music and was the master of the mix-tape (“you are what you listen to”). She was a devoted cat-mom: taking care of cats that others would have given up on and is now finally re-united with again (hopefully there are no cat-boxes in Heaven!). She will be forever remembered by her co-worker family where she devoted her professional life in a hospital lab and was everyone’s go-to for medical advice.

A Celebration of Kris’ Life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 23rd, at Orlando Center Pointe Community Church of The Nazarene, located at 9580 Curry Ford Rd.

While Kris has left this planet, she would fervently wish for all of us left behind, whom she loved and who dearly loved her, to “Live Long and Prosper”.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that a donation be made in Kris’ name to the Neurofibromatosis Network at https://www.nfnetwork.org/contribute/contribute-online/
