Emily Lahee, age 71, of Titusville, Florida, passed away on March 12, 2019, at Health First Viera Hospital, Viera, Florida.
Emily was born on June 5, 1947, in Frankfort, Indiana, to Paul Eugene and Eunice Lea Spray.
She was a 1965 graduate of Frankfort High School, Frankfort, Indiana.
She married Vernon E. Lahee (Sonny) on November 25, 1964, and he preceded her in death in 2016.
Emily is survived by her son, Vernon Paul Lahee (Cathy) of Titusville, Florida, daughter Annda Lea Kinsey (Bill) in Georgia, grandson Vernon Paul Lahee, Jr., and great-granddaughter Malia Maria Lahee, of Palm Coast, Florida. Other survivors include nephew Craig Smalley of Orlando, Florida, brothers Edwin Spray (Sharon), of Michigantown, Indiana, John Spray (Lillian), of Titusville, Florida, and sister Diana Bodish, of Frankfort, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Terry Rex Spray, of San Francisco, California, niece Patty Wann (Frankfort, Indiana), sister-in-law Diane Smalley of Orlando, Florida and nephew Greg Smalley of Orlando, Florida.
Emily retired from USA, Cape Canaveral, Florida, where she worked as a parachute technician. She enjoyed volunteering for the American Cancer Society, where was part of the relay for life team “Patty’s Partners” in honor of her niece, Patty Wann. She enjoyed spending with her family, reading, and working sudoku puzzles.
No public service will be held; however, for friends who wish, the family suggests memorial donations to The American Cancer Society in Emily’s honor.
