David was born on July 17, 1950 in Key West, FL; son of the late Frank S. and Donna F. (Revels) Thomas. He honorably and faithfully served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Vietnam war from 1968 to 1971. David was an avid golfer, dancer, loving son, brother, father, and uncle.
David is survived by his son, Bryan Thomas; his four daughters, Renee Thomas, Kimberly Thomas, Christi Smith, and Jennie Whitney, and her husband, Keith; a brother, Arthur Martin; four sisters, Liz Courson, Terri Courson, Tina Thomas, and Donna Ryder; nine grandchildren, one great grandchild and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - East Orlando Chapel, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando, FL 32822 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Funeral Services will full military honors will be on Monday, March 25 at 4:00 pm at the Funeral Home.
Graveside Committal will be at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, 5525 US-1, Mims, FL 32754 on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at 10:00 am.
