Loida R. Alvarez, age 83, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019. She was born in Isla Verde, Puerto Rico on March 20, 1936 to parents Angel and Antonia (Torres) Ortiz .

She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Alvarez; daughters, Elizabeth Alvarez, Sarah Wright, Diana Rodriguez, Veronica Alvarez; sons, Daniel Alvarez, Jr., and Alejandro Alvarez; sisters, Lydia Neal, and MaryAnn Bennett; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 am - 1:30 pm on Tuesday June 4 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - East Orlando, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando, Florida 32822. The Funeral Ceremony will begin at 1:30 pm. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Orlando.
