George Phillip Rockett, age 79, of Christmas, Florida passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019. He enjoyed reading, searching the internet and creating and sharing jokes. He was a veteran of the Army and had taught mortar fire while in the service. He was a scotch drinker and while he told everyone that he did not like animals, he really did love his grandson's dog.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, who she loved and missed dearly. Survivors include his daughters: Tamara and Beverly; a grandson who was his caretaker: Jeremy L. Jackson as well as 14 other grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
