Banyen Vongthirath was born May 2, 1921, her home town is close to Vientiane.
She is the daughter of Mr. Seng Chanthaseng and Mrs. Cheup Chanthaseng. She has 5 siblings.
She is the eldest. The second eldest her brother, Mr. Nan Chanthaseng, her sister Mrs. Vahn Chanthaseng, her brother Mr. Khandan Chanthaseng, and her brother Mr. Khamsan Chanthaseng.
She married her soulmate Khambao Vongthirath. She was 19, and he 20 when they married in 1940. Their marriage is life long.
They have now 4 children. Starting with the eldest, her daughter Chandom Vongthirath, Achan Saykham Vongthirath, Okeo Vongthirath, and Chanthavong Vongthirath.
She is a great – great – grandma to many grandchildren.
Khambao and Banyen arrived to the United states, to the state of Florida in 1986, bringing their children.
Banyen Vongthirath made her journey at the age 98 years old, 3 months and 9 days on September 22, 2019. She is now reunited with her husband , Khambao Vongthirath and her loved ones.
