Fatima was born on October 24, 1967 in Santo Domingo, DR; daughter of Rosina Gomez and the late Domingo Antonio Rodriguez. She was a loving, caring, charismatic person. Her laughter was contagious. She loved her garden, the sunflower was her favorite flower of them all; funny she was very much allergic to them. Anytime she heard music, she would dance and everyone followed. Fatima was a beautiful soul, the life of everyone's party. Her smile lit up the room. Fatima's hobbies included creating different things, for example making a curtain out of beads, gardening, cooking, and most of all, caring for her family.
She is survived by mother, Rosina, her husband, Homero Aguilar or Orlando; two daughters, Leslie Rodriguez and Disnaida Rodriguez both of Orlando; two sons, Thomas Rodriguez and Manuel Rodriguez both of Orlando; two sisters, Natividad Figueroa and her husband, Cesar, of Orlando, and Lorenza Swiger of Orlando; four brothers, Reynaldo Rodriguez of Orlando, Francisco Gomez and his wife, Veronica, of Tampa, Ricardo Caceres of New York, NY, and Eduyn Rodriguez of the Dominican Republic; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Domingo.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - East Orlando, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando, Florida 32822 with Pastor Estany Ruiz officiating.
Visitation is Sunday, November 3 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Funeral Home
Interment will be in Chuluota Cemetery, Chuluota, FL.
