Herminio Martinez, age 90, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Friday, November 1, 2019 at his home in Orlando. He was the loving husband of Carmen Martinez.

Herminio was born on February 28,1929 in Utuado, PR, son of the late Primitivo de la Cruz and Petra Ocasio. In May of 1975, he married the former Carmen Tirado. Herminio was a longtime factory worker. He began his career in toy manufacturing, and later worked in a retail store assisting with various tasks. Herminio was known for being a hard working man and a great provider to his family. His favorite hobbies were playing pool in his younger years and dominoes for as long as we can remember.

Herminio is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Carmen; his two daughters, Norma Tirado of Chicago, IL and Carmen Luz Halim and her husband, Mohammed, of Chicago, IL; his son, Jose Arroyo of Chicago, IL; fourteen grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter, Irma Arroyo.

Funeral Services are Friday, November 8, 2019 at 7:00 pm at Liberty Christian Church, 2990 Red Bug Lake Rd, Casselberry,
Florida 32707 with Pastor Victor Artreche officiating.

Visitation is Friday, November 8, 2019 from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm and again on Saturday, from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon at the church.

Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Orlando, FL.
