On Sunday, November 3, 2019, Susan Jane Wyckoff, loving wife, mother of three, and grandmother of three, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 61.
She was born October 3, 1958, in Streator, IL to Fran and the late Roger “Poppy” Osborn. She has called Titusville home since she was three, which fostered her long time love of the beach. Susan enjoyed traveling, especially cruising with her husband and always basked in the open ocean air. While Susan loved the beach and ocean her whole life, she also had a special place in her heart for the mountains, especially Gatlinburg, TN, where she regularly vacationed with family to enjoy the snow, autumn colors, and crisp cool air.
Susan was a passionate wife, caring mother and loving friend, always placing others first. She grew close to friends over the years playing bunco, one of her favorite things to do. Other hobbies included collecting Beanie Babies in the 90’s to most recently rubber stamps. She also ventured into crafting of all sorts and would always surprise others with her memorable DiY crafts. Inspired by her mother’s love of cooking, Susan was an amazing cook. She honed those skills over the decades and passed them along to her children.
Susan is survived by her husband of 30 years, John; and three children of Titusville, Jason (Kim), James, and Ashley; mother, Fran Osborn of Titusville; sisters, Linda (Dave) Jaehne of Port St. John and Torry (Steve) Connolly of Winter Springs; brother, Jack “Rocky” Osborn of Titusville; and three granddaughters Sydney Rosar, London and Milan.
The family is holding a private service and suggest honoring Susan’s memory with a donation to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Food Pantry, 2073 Garden St, Titusville, 32796.
