Maria DeLos Angeles Copeland, age 82, passed away on November 25, 2019 in Longwood, Florida. Maria was born on December 7, 1936 in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico to parents Robert Gideon Scott and Isabel (Carballo) Scott.

She is survived by her children, Dona Lee Harden, Tracy Ann Sulyma, and Billy Lamon Copeland, Jr.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and many friends, all who will miss her greatly.
Maria was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Isabel Scott; her husband, Billy Lamon Copeland; and her brother, Robert Leroy Scott.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, November 29, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions - South Seminole Chapel, 335 East State Road 434, Longwood, Florida 32750. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Longwood, 891 E. State St. Rd 434 Longwood, Florida 32750. A private family interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Gotha, Florida.
