Julita Lopez, 84, passed away on December 2, 2019 in Hamden, Connecticut. She was born on July 1, 1935 in Yauco, Puerto Rico.

She was predeceased by her parents Eugenio and Luisa Antonina (Quinones) Rodriguez, her husband Jose Angel Lopez, her brother Hector Rodriguez, her sister Esther Rodriguez, and her nephew Jose Colon. She is survived by her five children: her daughter Elizabeth, her husband James, her sons Alberto, Jose and Wilfredo, and her daughter Anna and her husband Eddie, and her brother Octavio Rodriguez and his wife Noemi, and several nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. She’s also survived by her 8 grandchildren Julieanne, Jose Emmanuel, Dashaun, Diana, Nayquan, David, Anthony and Tina and 15. Great-grandchildren Lil Anthony,AJ, Nick, Aliyah, Ariana, Serenity, Jayleen, Victoria, Naomi, Jamuel, Amaya, Ezra, Adrian, Noeli and Elias.

Julita was a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a great-grandmother, and an amazing friend to all who knew her. Julita was a woman of faith who pursued God relentlessly. She was the epitome of unconditional love and compassion a wonderful woman of God with a great heart who loved everyone.

She loved her family and enjoyed reading writing surfing the Internet and shopping and most of all praying, she spent countless hours praying for her family and friends.

To know her was to LOVE her. May she rest in eternal peace.
