Richard A. Markoe, age 91, of Winter Park, Florida passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020. He was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on September 12, 1928 to parents Francis and Ruth (Admire) Markoe.

He is survived by his five children, Richard E. Markoe, Louise R. Markoe, Philip B. Markoe, Anastasia M. Ferger, and Frederick P. Markoe; eleven grandchildren, Tori L. Goldacker, Jenna S. Trnavskis, Cory K. Cooper, Richard F. Markoe, Alisha L. Gilbert, Robert M. Markoe, Lauren M. Chaissan, Alexander R. Markoe, Jessica L. Ferger, Jacob P. Markoe, and William D. Markoe; eight great-grandchildren; brother, John P. Markoe; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 50 years, Jean Butler Markoe; father, Francis A. Markoe; mother, Ruth A. Markoe; and five brothers.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Monday, January 27, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - South Seminole Chapel, 335 E. State Road 434, Longwood, Florida 32750. The funeral mass will begin at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 526 N Park Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Dr, Winter Park, FL 32789.
